The GateKeeper Proximity token utilizes Bluetooth 4.0 for communicating a wireless signal, but does not require you to pair the token with your computer's Bluetooth. This allows for a faster, more dynamic, and secure experience using proximity login.
Not requiring to pair the token with a computer means that a user can access multiple computers easily and without any additional steps by using their GateKeeper tokens. For example, a physician treating patients in different examination rooms throughout the day needs to log on to many different computers. By eliminating the need to pair the wireless token to the computer, GateKeeper allows the physician to quickly log on to any computer they want based on their proximity.
For any additional questions or concerns regarding proximity settings, computer locking, credential management, or compliance, please contact GateKeeper Enterprise support using the Support Ticket form on https://gkaccess.com/support/ or email email@example.com.
