Exporting passwords from LastPass.
These instructions assume you already have an active LastPass subscription (personal version). If not, you may need to re-enable your subscription before continuing. If you are a LastPass business user, you may need to contact your LastPass Admin to enable exporting your credentials.
Here are step-by-step instructions. You can also view the instruction on LastPass' website (insert a link).
Export passwords from LastPass:
1. Click the LastPass icon in your browser toolbar and Log into your LastPass Vault.
2. Click "Account".
3. Click "Fix a problem yourself".
4. Click "Export vault items".
5. Click "Export data for use anywhere".
6. You'll be prompted to enter your password to confirm the export.
7. If desired, choose to Do not re-prompt and choose a period from the drop-down options. Now, select Continue. Done!
Your vault data will also be downloaded as a CSV file if LastPass pop-ups are not banned. Your websites and secure notes are now visible on a web browser page after you successfully export the data from your LastPass vault (which you can copy the contents and paste into a text editor to save the file locally). ***Clean up and remove any unnecessary data from the Excel file before proceeding to import the data.
