Where to find the drivers for the GateKeeper proximity Bluetooth USB sensor (dongle).

All the drivers for the GateKeeper proximity USB sensor (receiver) are automatically installed during the installation of the GateKeeper software. 

If the drivers are not automatically installed, you can install them manually by going to the following folders. 

GateKeeper Client Enterprise Application:

For 32-bit computers:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Untethered Labs\GateKeeper Client\DPInst

For 64-bit computers: 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Untethered Labs\GateKeeper Client\DPInst\x64

GateKeeper Retail Application:

For 32-bit computers:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Untethered Labs\GateKeeper Retail\DPInst

For 64-bit computers: 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Untethered Labs\GateKeeper Retail\DPInst\x64

If you see the error message saying "the language of this installation package is not supported by your system", it typically indicates a mismatch between the installer’s language and your Windows system locale settings.

✅ Try these solutions:

Option 1: Run the installer as Administrator

1. Right-click on DPInst.exe in the x64 folder.

2. Select Run as administrator.

3. See if the error still appears.

Option 2: Use Device Manager to install manually

1. Open Device Manager.

2. Right-click the unrecognized USB device (or Smart Card Reader, if it appears there).

3. Select Update driver.

4. Choose “Browse my computer for drivers”.

5. Point to:

   java

   CopyEdit

   C:\Program Files (x86)\Untethered Labs\GateKeeper Retail\DPInst\x64

6. Click Next and proceed with installation.

Option 3: Check system language and region

1. Go to Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region.

2. Ensure your Windows display language is set to English (United States) (or matches the sensor driver language).

3. Restart the computer and try again.

If it still fails, you can also try installing the USB sensor from the Device Manager > Add legacy hardware wizard.
