Installing GateKeeper™ Proximity for 2FA on Mac Computers.
To install the GateKeeper Client application on your Mac with macOS 10.13 or 10.14, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to your GateKeeper Customer Portal account.
- Navigate to the Enterprise Software section and click on the Software button.
- Download and run the Mac OS installer package on your Mac.
- Click Continue.
- Please look over the installation notes and the Read Me.
- Click Continue. Read and agree to the license.
- Click Continue.
- Select the disk where you’d like to install the GateKeeper application.
- Click Continue.
- Click Install Software to begin the installation process.
- Submit an administrator's credentials to install the software and click Install Software.
- Wait for a couple of minutes while the application is being installed.
- Before the installation has finished, a pop-up window will appear displaying the Mac Login option on the GateKeeper login screen.
- Click Log Out to finish the installation.
- Once logged back in, launch the GateKeeper Client application by clicking the GateKeeper icon on the menu bar.
*IMPORTANT - If you’re going to use the GateKeeper to log in to a domain account, please make sure you’ve logged in to the computer at least once with the domain credentials.
