If you would like to uninstall GateKeeper Proximity authentication software from a Mac computer, please follow the steps below.

Solution:

1. Open a Terminal window.

2. Type the following command:

cd /Applications/Utilities/Uninstall\  GateKeeper/

3. Press Return.

4. Type the following command:

sudo ./uninstall

5. When prompted, please type in your admin password and hit Return.

6. Close the Terminal window and then restart your Mac. Done!

*For version 3.8.6 and after you can log out of the account and sign back in with your username and password instead of restarting your Mac.
