If your chosen method of locking is set to "Disconnect Session (Switch User)" then your Microsoft Windows OS may not have correctly saved the previous position of every open application on the screen. That is why when you unlock your computer, the position of the open applications may have changed. This is due to the Windows OS.
In order to avoid this (if you are the only user account on this computer), under Proximity Lock Method and Button Lock Method in the GateKeeper application, select "Lock Workstation" as the method of locking instead of "Disconnect Session (Switch User)". This way, the Windows OS should properly maintain the previous size and positions of your open applications.
For any additional questions or concerns regarding proximity settings, computer locking, credential management, or compliance, please contact GateKeeper Enterprise support using the Support Ticket form on https://gkaccess.com/support/ or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
