GateKeeper Biometric Login Feature
GateKeeper Fingerprint provides users a hassle-free biometric login experience by eliminating the need to type or remember passwords, without compromising convenience and productivity.
After purchasing your GateKeeper license and fingerprint readers, you can begin by installing the GateKeeper software.
GateKeeper offers two types of authenticators for logging in to computers: wireless Bluetooth tokens (either a GateKeeper token or your Android phone) or fingerprint. To use fingerprints to log in to your computers and access passwords, please follow the directions below.
1) Login to your GateKeeper Hub.
2) Click on Group Settings on the left side.
3) Click Global Settings.
4) Select Fingerprint checkbox under Authenticators.
*Note: The IT admin must choose between using fingerprints or Bluetooth tokens before deployment. When using fingerprint to authenticate, the auto-lock mechanism will not work. The Auto-lock option requires the use of a Bluetooth token to operate.
GateKeeper Compatible Fingerprint Reader Models:
The 710 and 5300 fingerprint readers meets FIPS standards and is recommended for organizations within regulated markets. The 4500 and 510 do readers not meet FIPS standards.
