No. FIDO U2F is only applicable to USB-based authentication - not wireless. GateKeeper does not support Web Authenication (WebAuthn) using FIDO U2F.
FIDO U2F does not allow for Active Directory-based authentication, which is not ideal for enterprise environments. GateKeeper Proximity allows for admins to utilize AD in their authentication with GateKeeper, making deployment and management significantly easier.
GateKeeper uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) tokens to provide proximity based 2-FA for computer logins. It has a built-in password manager that allows users to manage their web credentials, and provides access to those web credentials only after successful authentication on their computer logins.
For any additional questions or concerns regarding locking, logging off, proximity settings, credential management, or compliance, please contact GateKeeper Enterprise support using the Support Ticket form on https://gkaccess.com/support/ or email support@gkaccess.com. Lock or log off automatically when you're away from your computer.
