Login to your websites with automatic 2FA OTP. GateKeeper™ can generate OTPs for websites that support OTP authenticators, such as Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator, as their second factor of authentication. Instead of using your phone to get the OTP code while logging on to the website, GateKeeper automatically generates OTP codes for you to add during login.

• Supported Method for TOTP: Time-Based One-Time Passcodes
• Similar to: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, DUO, etc.

How to add a login requiring a TOTP code

Open the web page and navigate to the section of the website that displays either the QR Code or TOTP secret to enable 2FA, then follow the steps below:

1. Open the GateKeeper Password Manager extension in your browser.
   
   
2. Click + Add Password.
   
   
3. The website's URL will auto-populate, then add your username and password. If the QR code does not auto-populate, please add the TOTP secret code into the OTP Secret field.
   
   
4. Once all the fields are filled, click Save Password. Done.

 

The next time the user logs into the website, the username and password will autofill. Next, the user will

copy and paste the OTP code into the field from the GateKeeper Proximity web password manager.

You can also use 2FA OTP to log in to your computer as a backup to proximity login if you don't have your token with you. To use TOTP as your computer's backup login, follow the directions in the link:
