How to make the computer unlock from long range.

If you would like to log in to your computer faster, please follow the directions below. 

GateKeeper Client Version 3.12.28 and above

1. Open your GateKeeper Client application on your PC by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard and start typing "GateKeeper".
   
   
2. Change the Auto-Unlock Range setting to a lower setting for example Far (8 - 15 feet). Now your computer will unlock sooner. The default setting is Normal (3 - 10 feet). The maximum unlock distance is 15 feet.

GateKeeper Single-User Client v3.11.35 and below

1. Open your GateKeeper Client application on your PC by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard and start typing "GateKeeper".
   
   
2. Move the Unlock dial left to increase the unlock range (unlocks from farther away). Now your computer will unlock faster when you approach. This will help prevent lag and latency when logging in. The default unlock setting is set to 70. Try moving the unlock notch lower to around 50-60 and see if that helps. 50 is the fastest login range - likely to unlock just as you sit down. 

Changing your lock and unlock distance.

Depending on how fast you approach the computer, the system may unlock from farther away as well.
