Add an application to run automatically at startup in Windows 10
2) Right-click the application and click More. Then, select Open file location. This opens the location where the shortcut to the application is saved. If there is no option for Open file location, then it means that the selected application cannot be run on startup.
3) With the file location open, press the Windows key + R, then type shell:startup, and click OK. The Startup folder will open.
4) Copy and paste the shortcut to the application from the file location to the Startup folder.
Change which applications run automatically on startup
Two ways you to change which applications run automatically on startup in Windows 10:
Option 1) Select the Start button, select Settings > Apps > Startup. Make sure any application you want to run at startup is turned "On".
Option 2) If you do not see the Startup option in Settings, right-click Start button, click Task Manager, then click the Startup tab (if you do not see the Startup tab, select "More details"). Click the application you want to edit, then click Enable to run it at startup or Disable to stop the application from running at startup.
