Automatic 2FA OTP Login to Websites.
Login without typing your OTP on websites by using GateKeeper™ Proximity. GateKeeper generates OTPs for secure website 2FA login that support TOTP authenticators such as Google authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator, as their second factor of authentication. Instead of using your phone to get the OTP code while logging on to the website, GateKeeper Proximity automatically generates secure OTP codes for the user, then auto-fills them in when the website requests it during login.
- Supported Method for TOTP: Time-Based One-Time Passcodes
- Similar to: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, DUO, etc.
Once you are on the website for which you want to enable two-factor authentication, you will see a QR code or Secret displayed on it. You will need this QR code/secret to add an OTP to your GateKeeper user profile.
- Open the GateKeeper Password Manager extension in your browser.
- Click + Add Password.
- Fill in the website credential details (website, username, password).
- Copy the secret from the website's 2-FA settings page and paste it directly into the OTP box.
- Click Save Password.
The next time the user logs in to the website, the OTP will auto-fill. You can also see it by clicking the password in the GateKeeper Password Manager Chrome extension. Some websites do not allow the auto-filling functionality. In this case, please copy and paste the required credential/OTP code into the field from the GateKeeper web password vault.
