Why do we need SSL for AD Connections?
If you want to use GateKeeper Hub to update passwords for your on-premise AD accounts that are connected to users or computers in GateKeeper, you must connect your AD to GateKeeper Hub via LDAPS. LDAPS connection ensures that passwords can be reset on the Active Directory securely and is required for any password and account management operations through the GateKeeper Hub.
Please follow the instructions provided in the link below to set up LDAPS for your domain controller before connecting your Active Directory to the GateKeeper Hub.
Connecting your On-Premise AD to GateKeeper Hub:
There are two methods by which you can connect your AD to the GateKeeper Hub.
Option #1: Direct LDAP(S) connection
Option #2: Use the AD Connector
