Yes! GateKeeper tokens can be used to store and retrieve your KeePassXC master password to unlock your account. Your passwords are encrypted on the computer and are never stored or transmitted from the token. Please see the following KB article about how to save passwords (web, applications, or computer) into GateKeeper. Use a proximity key as your master key to your KeePass password manager.
The following steps show how to retrieve your password and unlock your KeePassXC account.
1. Log into your computer using your GateKeeper token.
2. Open your GateKeeper Password Vault using the Chrome Ext.
3. Search for your KeePassXC password, then copy your Password.
4. Paste your password into your KeePassXC password field. Done! Next time, your username and password for KeePassXC will auto-fill.
For any additional questions or concerns regarding proximity security, computer locking, password management, 2FA, or compliance, please contact GateKeeper Enterprise support using the Support Ticket form on https://gkaccess.com/support/ or email support@gkaccess.com.
