NFC and RFID Cards for Authentication with GateKeeper

Near-field communication (NFC) cards can be used as authenticators on the GateKeeper Enterprise platform. This feature allows users to scan their NFC cards on approved NFC readers to authenticate on their computers.

The GateKeeper Client application must be updated to 3.13.29 or a later version to enable NFC card authentication.

Valid Cards:

Currently, NFC (13.56Mhz) cards from the MIFARE Classic family (1k and 4k cards) and RFID (125khz) can be used as valid GateKeeper authenticators. 

Specs: A static UID is required for GateKeeper authentication; a dynamic UID is not going to work for us.
If the AES128 card blocks the ability to read the UID, then it will not work with GateKeeper.

Card Readers:

USB NFC readers that support the Microsoft Windows Chip Card Interface Device (CCID) protocol can be used as NFC readers with the GateKeeper Client application. We recommend the following NFC readers for use with GateKeeper:
