Set up GateKeeper.
To begin using your GateKeeper Token for proximity login, please follow the instructions:
- Download and install the GateKeeper desktop software.
- Turn the power switch ON; under the token or download the GateKeeper mobile app for free.
- Plug your USB sensor into your computer. Or use a USB extension cable and managers to place the USB in line of sight with your token or phone.
- Touch your token to the USB Bluetooth proximity sensor (receiver) and leave it there for registration.
- Open the GateKeeper Client desktop application and go to the New User tab.
- Click Scan Token.
- Confirm the serial number of the GateKeeper Proximity token you are registering.
The serial number will be located either on the back of the token (rechargeable versions) or inside the GateKeeper Halberd token battery cover (battery-powered versions). If you are using your phone as the token, the serial number will be in the Trident app on your phone. To find the serial number, click the SERIAL NUMBER button in the app, and a pop-up window will appear displaying the serial number.

A pop-up will appear with the tokens detected by the sensor. Locate your token's serial number and select it by clicking the icon next to it. If your token does not appear, click the button as it may not have been picked up by the sensor yet.
- Add user information.
- Choose a PIN like you would for your debit card. Done!
