Proximity Lock Method
The Proximity Lock Method setting defines how GateKeeper automatically secures your computer when you walk away.
The default setting is Lock Workstation.
When Proximity Lock is enabled, your computer remains unlocked as long as you are within the defined proximity range. As soon as you move away from your computer, beyond the configured distance, GateKeeper detects the loss of the token's Bluetooth signal and automatically triggers one of the predefined actions to prevent unauthorized access.
In summary, Lock Workstation, as a Proximity Lock method, is a convenient and secure feature of GateKeeper that automatically locks your computer based on the proximity of your GateKeeper token. It enhances workflow efficiency by locking the workstation without closing any programs, allowing for a seamless and quick return to work.
