Computer locked because Trident phone app keeps turning off. Why?

Situation:

You are on your computer and get disconnected because your Trident app turned off.

Solution:

The Android and iOS operating systems may arbitrarily turn off apps if the memory or battery is running low. This may cause the Trident app to be completely shut down causing the computer to lock. Whenever this happens, simply click the Trident icon to open it and the app will resume.

For normal operation, the Trident should be running either in the foreground or background. For Android users, you should see a notification on your phone for the Trident app. Further, the Trident icon should have an orange notification number "1" on the upper right. If you do not see this notification, please open your Trident app and it will automatically begin running. GateKeeper will detect the active app and resume normal operations.
