You can configure your Android phone to automatically launch the GateKeeper Trident app when you arrive at a specific location, such as your workplace, using the built-in Modes and Routines feature. This ensures that Trident is running in the background and ready for proximity authentication without needing to open it manually each day.
What is “Modes and Routines”?
Modes and Routines is a built-in Samsung feature that allows you to automate tasks on your phone based on conditions like time, location, Wi-Fi connection, and more.
Modes are predefined profiles like Work, Sleep, or Driving.
Routines are customizable automations using basic "If → Then" logic.
In this guide, we’ll create a routine that automatically opens Trident when you arrive at work.
How to Set It Up: Automatically Launch Trident at Work
1. Search for Modes and Routines and open the application.

2. Scroll down and click "Work", then tap "Start".

3. Select "Place".

4. Choose "When I arrive" and set your work location.

5. Confirm the work address and click "Done" at the bottom.

6. Select "Open an app or do an app action".

7. Type "Trident", then select "Open Trident" and click Done.

8. Click "Turn On".

You are All Set!
Your phone will now automatically launch GateKeeper Trident when you arrive at your selected work location. This makes sure the app is running and ready for proximity login.
