Purchasing GateKeeper Proximity Licenses.

You can purchase a GateKeeper Halberd token key fob set from either the online store or one of our channel partners. GateKeeper software is free for personal users. Subscription-based multi-user software is available with admin controls. The single-user software requires no purchase and is available for Download on the homepage under the DOWNLOADS section. If you do not wish to use a physical key and would prefer to use your phone, please download the free GateKeeper Trident app from the Google Play Store.

If you are purchasing for an enterprise organization and require central credential management, please purchase a GateKeeper Enterprise License or contact [e-mail] / (240)-547-5446.

1. Your GateKeeper license is available for purchase on the GateKeeper Customer Portal account. The customer portal can be accessed at https://portal.gkchain.com/login. Log in to purchase your License by clicking on + Recurring License. and following the on-screen directions There are three tiers for GateKeeper Enterprise available: CORE, ADVANCED, and ULTIMATE.

When buying a new license:

 

Click + Recurring License to create a new license for an organization to use GateKeeper.

 

1. Select your plan based on the features you need: Core, Advanced, or Ultimate. Also select either monthly or annual subscription for billing. Annual subscriptions receive an additional 20% off.
   
   
2. Select your hosting option: Cloud or On-Premise.
   
   
3. Select the quantity of tokens and USB sensors required. An organization with 500 users and 700 workstations would require 500 GateKeeper Hardware Sets (each contain 1 GateKeeper Halberd token and 1 USB proximity sensor for your workstation) and 200 additional USB sensors for the 200 extra workstations. The company would also like to keep an additional 100 tokens in stock, just in case employees lose/misplace tokens.

Click Purchase. Done! You are subscribed to GateKeeper Enterprise with a cloud admin console.

 

Now, set up your GateKeeper Hub admin console. Select "Deploy New GateKeeper Cloud Hub" and follow the directions.

 

When adding users to existing license:

 

1. If have a customer portal account, sign in.

 

 

2. Click the Licenses option.

 

3. If you have already purchased a license for this cloud Hub instance, just click "Add Users" next to the Hub instance name on the right side.

 

Recurring licenses are licenses that are set to renew every month or year. One-Time licenses are annual licenses that expire after 1 year and will need to be replaced with a newly purchased license. Trial licenses are available for 15 days to allow admins to try out GateKeeper without subscribing.

 

 

4. Change the number of users you would like this license to have.

 

5. Make sure the billing information is correct and submit the order. Done! You will receive your shipping confirmation number via email.

 

 

2. If you have not already done so, you will need to create a cloud GateKeeper Hub deployment which will allow you, as the admin, to upload your purchased license and begin deploying GateKeepers to your computers. If you would like to use GateKeeper Enterprise on-premise, download the software from the Customer Portal in the Software tab. Install on any computer on the network.

3. Login to your GateKeeper Hub. From the GateKeeper Hub, go to the Administration page by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner on the Hub. 

4. On the Administration page, click Hub Administration.

5. Navigate down to the Licenses section and click + Add License to locate the downloaded license file.

6. Once you have selected the license, click Upload to finish updating your license to the Hub.

All set. Now you can have as many users as licenses you have purchased and uploaded to your Hub.

You are also welcome to purchase backup Halberd key fob tokens in case employees lose them.

You can also purchase additional USB proximity sensors if you have more computers users need to access. We highly recommend 2 per workstation for optimal performance.
