Does Youtube work when GateKeeper locks?

Yes. When GateKeeper locks the computer, Windows displays the lock screen but does not stop applications that are already running. This means YouTube will continue playing in the background even though the user cannot interact with it.

This behavior is similar to virtual meeting applications such as Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet. If the computer locks, the meeting continues running in the background until the user unlocks the workstation.
