The following instructions will disable the Inactivity Lock Method. Without this setting enabled, GateKeeper will only lock the computer if the token's button is pushed or the user walks out of range with their token. If you are a user who spends time on your computer without typing or using the mouse (Zoom calls), then disabling the Inactivity Lock Method will prevent computers from locking while you are on calls.
Method 1: Using the GateKeeper Hub (GateKeeper Enterprise Users Only)
1. Log in to your GateKeeper Hub.
2. Click on the Groups & Settings tab on the left side.
3. Find the Group you would like to make changes to and click "Manage Settings", then click Update Settings to the right of the Group's name.
4. On the side panel, under the Lock Settings, scroll down until you see Inactivity Lock Method. From the dropdown menu, select Disable.
5. At the bottom of the side panel, click Save Changes. Done!
Method 2: Using the GateKeeper Client App
1. Open the GateKeeper Client app on your computer.
2. Click the Settings tab on the left.
3. Under Lock Settings, scroll down until you see the Inactivity Lock Method.
4. Click the dropdown menu and select Disabled. Done!
If you are using the GateKeeper Enterprise Client application and the Inactivity Lock Method is locked, please contact your GateKeeper Hub administrator to adjust the setting.
For any additional questions or concerns regarding proximity settings, computer locking, credential management, or compliance, please contact GateKeeper Enterprise support using the Support Ticket form on https://gkaccess.com/support/ or email support@gkaccess.com.
