Uninstall the GateKeeper Extension from Chrome Using the Windows Registry.

Quick Registry Fix (for a corrupt Edge extension)

1. Press Win + L, then type regedit.
2. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge
3. Find the GateKeeper PW Manager extension folder under Extensions or ExtensionInstallForcelist, and delete the following:
- toolbar_state
- installation_mode

Refresh Chrome

1. Open Chrome and go to: chrome://policy
2. Click Reload Policies.

3. GateKeeper extension has been removed.

Remove the Extension

1. Visit: chrome://extensions
2. Click Remove on Gatekeeper Password Manager.

Reinstall

1. Go to the Chrome Add-ons Store.
2. Search for Gatekeeper Password Manager.
3. Click Get → Add Extension.
