This guide details how to configure the GateKeeper RDP Launcher to automatically log AD users into a remote session after unlocking the local computer using their GateKeeper token. There is also an option to point the GateKeepe RDS at a specific server using a .rdp file and Gateway HostName.

1. Install the GateKepeer RDP Launcher on each PC.
2. Log into the local computer.
3. Click the Windows key, then type "GateKeeper RDP Launcher Configuration" and select the application to open the configuration utility.
4. Enter the following information on the GateKeeper RDP Launcher Configuration application. "**" These are required fields. The domain name, domain controller address, and the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) must all match, or credential validation will fail.
- RDP File (Optional): If you have a pre-configured RDP file, you can load it. The RDP Config application will load relevant details like the SERVER ADDRESS, Gateway Hostname from the RDP file.
- Server Address: DNS Name or IP address of the remote machine. This will be read from the RDP file if you are loading one.
- Server Port: Enter the port number for the RDP connection. Example: 3389
- Gateway Hostname (Optional): If you are using a Gateway to connect the remote machine, please enter it's hostname.
- Domain: Domain of the remote computer. Eg. CORP
- Domain Controller Address: Refers to the network location (IP address or fully qualified domain name - FQDN) of a server that functions as a Domain Controller (DC) within an Active Directory (AD) domain
- Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN): Fully qualified name for the domain. Example: corp.contoso.com
- Clear Login Credentials After (Seconds): The time after which the credentials for the RDP session will be cleared from the local Windows system.
- Validate credentials before RDP Launch: Checking this box tells the GateKeeper software to validate the AD credentials before attempting to log in.
4. Click the Save button. Done.
