How to start a new GateKeeper Enterprise subscription.

Purchasing a GateKeeper Subscription License

Purchase a subscription license for GateKeeper Enterprise from either the online store or one of our channel partners. There are three tiers for GateKeeper Enterprise available: CORE, ADVANCED, and ULTIMATE. Recurring licenses are licenses that are set to renew every month or year.

          

1. If you have a customer portal account, sign in.

2. Click the Store option. 

3. Choose your subscription plan and recurring term (monthly or annually) then click Order.

 

4. Click Yes, I want a new recurring license to create a new license for an organization to use GateKeeper.

1. Select your plan based on the features you need: Core, Advanced, or Ultimate. Also, select either a monthly or annual subscription for billing. Annual subscriptions receive an additional 20% off.
   
   
2. Select your hosting option: Cloud or On-Premise. Difference between Cloud or On-Premise GateKeeper Enterprise Hub admin console.
   
   
   
   
3. Select the number of tokens and USB sensors required. An organization with 500 users and 700 workstations would require 500 GateKeeper Hardware Sets (each containing 1 GateKeeper Halberd token and 1 USB proximity sensor for your workstation) and 200 additional USB sensors for the 200 extra workstations. The company would also like to keep an additional 100 tokens in stock, just in case employees lose/misplace tokens. 
   
   
   
   
4. Choose support options.
   
   
5. Review your order.

6. Billing information

7. Review your order and click Submit Order. On the pop-up window, click Purchase. Done! You are subscribed to GateKeeper Enterprise. 

If you chose the cloud-hosted GateKeeper Hub option, click Deploy New GateKeeper Hub Cloud Hub to begin the setup process. 

 

If you chose the self-hosted GateKeeper Hub option, click I'll deploy later and go to the Software page to download the GateKeeper Hub on-premise software.

For the On-Premise GateKeeper Hub version:

Your GateKeeper license will be available in your GateKeeper Customer Portal on the Licenses page. Please click the Software tab to access the GateKeeper Hub on-premise software. Installing the Gatekeeper Hub

 

How to add users to an existing subscription/license:

If you have run out of users in your purchased GateKeeper license, you will have to add more users to your license from your customer portal. If you have a recurring license (automated bill), please use the instructions below. If you don't have a recurring license, please contact your GateKeeper rep for help adding users.

Add users through the customer portal

1. Log in to your GateKeeper Customer Portal account; sign in.

 

 

2. Click the Licenses option.

 

3. If you have already purchased a license (RECURRING LICENSE) for this Hub instance, just click "Add Users" next to the Hub instance name on the right side.

 

 

4.  Change the number of users you would like this license to have.

 

5. Make sure the billing information is correct and submit the order. Done!
The GateKeeper Hub should automatically reflect the changes in about an hour. If not, please follow the instructions below to force the Hub to see the changes. 

 

 

How to force your GateKeeper Hub to check for license changes.

1. Log in to your GateKeeper Hub and go to the Administration page in the top right corner of the Hub. 

2. On the Administration page, click Licenses from the left pane.

3. Click Sync Licenses. Done!

Hardware Notes

You are also welcome to purchase backup Halberd key fob tokens in case employees lose them.

You can also purchase additional USB proximity sensors if you have more computers users need to access. You can install up to 5 USB proximity sensors per workstation for increased performance.
