How to assign a default Credential Provider through local Group Policy.
You will need the CLSID for GateKeeper to set the Group Policy. The CLSID for the GateKeeper credential provider is: {b84ca702-35a8-4e67-8d2a-6c2807b297d3}
1. Press Windows Key + R combination, type gpedit.msc in the Run dialog box, and hit Enter to open the Local Group Policy Editor.
2. In the Local Group Policy Editor window, double-click on Assign a default credential provider. The policy is Not Configured by default.
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Logon >Assign a default credential provider
3. Change the state to Enabled and in the Assign the following credential provider as the default credential provider field, type the CLSID {b84ca702-35a8-4e67-8d2a-6c2807b297d3}.
4. Click the Apply button, then OK. Close the GPO Editor and reboot the machine for the changes to take effect. Done!
