GateKeeper Client - Exclusion Reference

GateKeeper Services and Folder Exclusions

This document lists all necessary GateKeeper services and operating folders that should be excluded or whitelisted in antivirus, endpoint protection, or group policy environments to ensure proper functionality of the GateKeeper Client.

GateKeeper Services to Whitelist/Exclude

GateKeeper.RemoteManagement.Windows.exe	GateKeeper remote management service	C:\Program Files (x86)\Untethered Labs\GateKeeper Client\GateKeeper.RemoteManagement.Windows.exe
GKClientUpdater	GateKeeper Client Updater Support Service	C:\Program Files (x86)\Untethered Labs\GateKeeper Client\GKClientUpdater.exe

Operating Folders to Whitelist/Exclude

The following folders and their contents (e.g., EXEs, DLLs) are used by the GateKeeper Client during normal operation. The first 2 folders should be primarily excluded/whitelisted from antivirus scanning or restriction policies:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Untethered Labs\GateKeeper UserManagement Smartcards	Utilities and support files for RFID/smartcard-based authentication
