Check battery level on the Gatekeeper Token.

To check the battery status on the GateKeeper Halberd, press and hold the action button on the side for 3-4 seconds. The Halberd will beep and the LED will flash green if the battery is good. If the key does not beep or the LED does not light up/flashes red, please replace the battery with a new CR2450 3V lithium coin cell battery.

When replacing your battery, please make sure to insert the battery into the token at an angle to make sure it seats properly. An improper connection between the battery and the token can result in intermittent locking incidents. We don't want that.

If you have your Halberd connected to your computer, go to the Tokens section of the GateKeeper dashboard. 

The battery level will be displayed graphically under the Battery category. 

To see all the tokens with low battery, please follow the steps below:

1. Open Google Chrome/Firefox web browser.

2. Log in to GateKeeper Hub.

3. Once you're in the Dashboard page, click Users on the left side, then click GateKeeper Users.

4. Scroll through all users and see if there are any red warnings for "low battery" next to any name.

5. Click on the user's name and then click the Tokens tab.

Here, you can see all the tokens with low CR2450 batteries for this user. Please swap out any low batteries as soon as possible in order to avoid being locked out/downtime. Or if you have a rechargeable token, please recharge it using USB-C for 15 minutes.

Alternatively, you can set up an Alert for all low batteries by going to System Alerts.

Click the Low Battery alert and switch the Status to Active.

Click on the Delivery tab to select delivery schedule, method (text, email), and recipient. Click Save when done.
