The red light flashing LED on the GateKeeper Halberd means the battery is low. Please replace the battery with a new CR2450 3V lithium coin cell battery. Or if you have a rechargeable token, please recharge it using USB-C for 10 minutes.
To check the battery status on the GateKeeper Halberd key fob token, press and hold the action button on the side for 3-4 seconds. The Halberd will beep and the LED will flash green if the battery is good. If the key does not beep or the LED does not light up/flashes red, please replace the battery with a new CR2450 3V lithium coin cell battery.
How long your battery lasts depends on usage - the CR2450 3V lithium battery in the GateKeeper Halberd can last between 3-4 months. Make sure to properly place the battery into the token at an angle to make sure it seats properly. An improper connection between the battery and the token can result in intermittent locking incidents.
For any additional questions or concerns regarding proximity settings, computer locking, credential management, or compliance, please contact GateKeeper Enterprise support using the Support Ticket form on https://gkaccess.com/support/ or email support@gkaccess.com.
