Setting up your GateKeeper Token.
The following guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for setting up a new user for GateKeeper Proximity Retail Software. To pair a token with the Gatekeeper Client Retail application, please follow the steps below. For GateKeeper Enterprise users (Multi-User Mode with admin controls), please use the following link to create an enterprise account, and a GateKeeper rep will reach out. https://portal.gkchain.com/software/client
1. Insert the GateKeeper USB proximity Bluetooth sensors(s) in the front ports of the computer / in line of sight to your key (we recommend using USB extension cables and wire managers to position your sensors).
2. If you have a rechargeable token, please charge it using USB-C for 10 minutes. Or if you have a battery-powered token, please open the back cover and Insert a new CR2450 battery into the token with the ‘+’ side facing up. If you want to use your Android phone as your token, download the GateKeeper Trident app for free.
3. Place your token on the USB Bluetooth proximity sensor (receiver) and leave it there for registration.
4. Download and install the GateKeeper Client software v3.11.35 on your computer; click here for the MSI file. Or, Use the knowledge base article "Software for GateKeeper proximity login - Download." to choose the right software to download.
After installing the software, open the GateKeeper Client desktop application and go to the New User tab.
5. Click Scan Token.
6. Confirm the serial number of the GateKeeper Proximity token you are registering.
