Set up your GateKeeper Token for Free Users.

If you have a GateKeeper™ Halberd token from work, you can use the same token at home for your personal computer. Download the free version of the GateKeeper Client software from the GateKeeper website onto your personal computer that you wish to use your GateKeeper token to login on. Remember, the token is a key, so you can have more locks that the key opens at home.

Learn to set up your authentication key fob for proximity login. The GateKeeper Proximity authentication system for login requires 2 components: the hardware (Halberd token and USB receiver) and the software (GateKeeper Client).

1. Purchase Token (or use your token from work)

You can use either a GateKeeper Halberd hardware token, Gatekeeper Trident app (to use your phone to login). Purchase your Halberd, Trident app, or fingerprint readers from www.gkaccess.com.

2. Download Software

Download the appropriate software from the GateKeeper website.

This setup only requires the user to download the GateKeeper Client application (Windows or Mac) - on their computer.

Additionally, the GateKeeper Trident app (soft token) is also available for download on the Play Store if you would like to use your smartphone to be your proximity key to login to your computer and websites instead of a GateKeeper Halberd hardware token.

Done! Now you can lock and unlock your computer with your GateKeeper token. Now continue to add new passwords to your user profile. 

5. Add your web passwords

Add new passwords (credentials) to GateKeeper?

You can add passwords from your Chrome/Firefox extension of the GateKeeper Client desktop application. When you create a new online account, GateKeeper will auto-capture your username and password and prompt you to save it for future use. 

All done! Now as long as you have your GateKeeper key with you, your passwords will auto-fill, just type your PIN to login.
