Using USB extension cables with GateKeeper Proximity USB Sensor.
Your USB extension cables are crucial to properly positioning your USB proximity sensors (receivers) that keep your GateKeeper key fob in line of sight. This will ensure that your locking and unlocking experience is seamless and instant.
1. Begin by inserting your two USB Bluetooth proximity sensors into the ends of your two USB extension cables.
2. Then, use your wire clip managers to position your USB sensors in 2 optimal, line of sight positions: side of your monitor and under your desk. This is the common office setup. If your workstation environment is different, make sure to adjust the positioning of your USB sensors to account for your different working area.
If you only have one USB port available, please use a USB Y-splitter cable in order to accommodate two USB Bluetooth proximity sensors - the minimum recommended number.
