GateKeeper Halberd Token Battery Type.
The GateKeeper Halberd token is a physical key fob that works with Windows and Mac computers. The battery-powered token version uses a CR2450 3V lithium battery and can last between 3-4 months. All battery-powered GateKeeper tokens come with a new Panasonic CR2450 battery. Or if you have a rechargeable token, please recharge it using USB-C for 15 minutes.
Make sure to insert the battery into the token at an angle to make sure it seats properly. An improper connection between the battery and the token can result in intermittent locking incidents.
Alternatively, you can also choose to use your Android phone as your key fob instead by downloading the free GateKeeper Trident app on the Google Play Store.
CR2450 3V lithium batteries are commonly used in many products and can easily be found at many stores and online vendors.
For any additional questions or concerns regarding components, proximity settings, computer locking, credential management, or compliance, please contact GateKeeper Enterprise support using the Support Ticket form on https://gkaccess.com/support/ or email support@gkaccess.com.
