Battery level incorrect for hardware token.

The GateKeeper system records the last battery level at the point of logging in, not continuously. To see the most updated level of your token, you must log in using that token. 

If you have registered more than one token, the most recently used token will have the most updated battery level. For example, if you have registered your Android phone as a backup token and have no used it to log in for some time, then the battery level for your phone displayed on the GateKeeper system will be out of date. After logging in to your computer using your Android phone, your battery level will be updated.

Checking the battery level of your GateKeeper Token

To check the battery status on the GateKeeper Halberd, press and hold the action button on the side for 3-4 seconds. The Halberd will beep and the LED will flash green if the battery is good. If the key does not beep or the LED does not light up/flash red, please charge your token using a USB-C cable charger for 5-10 minutes or replace the battery with a new CR2450 3V lithium coin cell battery.

To see all the tokens with low battery, please follow the steps below:

1. Log in to GateKeeper Hub.

2. Click the Users tab on the left side.

3. Find the user, then click the "Tokens" tab under the "Actions" column.

5. You will see all the tokens that have been assigned to the user and the battery level as well.

Alternatively, you can set up an Alert for all low batteries by going to System Alerts.

Click the Low Battery alert and switch the Status to Active.

Click on the Delivery tab to select the delivery schedule, method (text, email), and recipient. Click Save when done.
