Sites
Sites are sub-divisions in your GateKeeper Hub that can be used to manage Role-Based-Access to computers, users, and other aspects of the Hub for your organization. You can assign team members as Administrators, Managers, or Limited Users to one or more sites. Global Access rights can be granted to certain team members who will have access to all sites. Computers and users can be placed in a single site and only the team members who have access to the site will be able to manage the users and computers in that site. Sites in GateKeeper Explained
Groups
Groups are combinations of Users and Computers, where every user in the group has access to every computer in that group. Computers in the Organization group will be accessible to every GateKeeper user. If you want to give certain users access to some computers, please put them in the same group. This page also allows you to choose client-side settings to be applied to computers. The settings for a group will be applied to all computers in that group. Groups in GateKeeper Explained
Sites - Who needs it?
If you have GateKeeper users and computers distributed over multiple locations or business units, and you would like to assign the ability to manage the users and computers to specific people at these sites, you can create team members in the GateKeeper Hub and assign them privileges to access the data for one or more sites. Global Access team members can manage every site and all the data contained in each.
