If you're troubleshooting the GateKeeper Client software and need to reset the service, you have two options.
- Restart the computer
- Restart the service through the command prompt
Restarting the service through the command prompt
- Click on the Start button (Windows logo) at the bottom-left corner of your screen.
- Type cmd or Command Prompt in the search bar.
- Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator to open with elevated privileges.
- Type the following command: taskkill /F /IM GateKeeper.Service.Windows.exe and press enter. Done!
In about 1 minute, the GateKeeper software will restart.
