How to install GateKeeper Hub admin console on-premise.

GateKeeper Hub (on-premise only) Installation

Operating System requirements:

• Windows Server 2016 and up

SQL requirements:

• GateKeeper software supports SQL 2016 and up
• Express is a great option for certain users
• 10 GB is enough for fewer than 50 users

1) First, download the GateKeeper Hub on-premise version from the GateKeeper Customer Portal under the Software tab.

2) Click "Web-Installer" to download the GateKeeper Hub on-premise version.

3) Run the GateKeeper Hub installer downloaded on your computer.  When the GateKeeper Hub modal opens, the installer will have the ability to determine whether prerequisites are required for the installation or they can be skipped. The list of prerequisites will be provided to the user and, they must determine by checking or unchecking the box. Please see the screenshots provided below.

4) After the user has selected which prerequisite is needed, click Next.

5) Then confirm the location to store the GateKeeper files on the computer. The installer will also identify the storage space needed. Please note that the memory required will be different for each user and system capacity. The user must agree to the license terms and conditions by checking the box, then the INSTALL button will illuminate green. Please see the screenshot below.

Please allow the application to complete the installation.

 

6) Click Finish to launch the GateKeeper Hub Configuration Manager.

You do not have to restart the computer immediately. However, it is highly recommended that a reboot is performed when the GateKeeper Hub application has been set up completely.

Next, register yourself as the GateKeeper Enterprise admin.
