The following guide is a troubleshooting guide for the AD Connector used to connect the GateKeeper Hub to an on-premise Active Directory. When you receive an error message saying the domain status is Not Connected, please perform the following checks:
- Verify that the service/admin account password is up to date in the AD connector or LDAP connection of the GateKeeper Hub.
- Verify that you are using the latest version of the AD Connector. The latest version of the AD Connector is available through the GateKeeper Hub (Log in to the Hub > Click the Downloads tab > Under Software Add-Ons, click the AD Connector
- Verify you are using the latest version of the GateKeeper Hub (on-premise Hub users only). Cloud Hub users' instances are always up to date. If you're not using the latest version of the GateKeeper Hub. Please click the 'Check for Updates' button in the GateKeeper Hub Manager.

Verify that the variable inputs are correct and in the proper format. ** is a required field.
- Hub Address**
- Secret Key**
- Server IP Address**
- Base DN: This is not a required field. Base DN ensures that GateKeeper only looks at a particular part of AD or an OU.
- Username**: It is recommended to use a service account for the AD connector.
- Domain Name**
- Password**: It is recommended to use a service account for the AD connector and NOT allow the password to expire.
