How to increase the computer's lock range.
GateKeeper Client Version 3.12.28 and above
- Open your GateKeeper Client application on your PC by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard and start typing "GateKeeper".
- Change the Proximity Lock Range setting to a lower setting for example Far (15 - 25 feet). Now your computer will lock slower when you leave. This helps prevent unintended locking events. The default setting is Normal (10 - 15 feet). The maximum distance the GateKeeper can lock your computer is at lock setting Out of Range Only (>25 feet).
GateKeeper Single-User Client v3.11.35 and below
- Open your GateKeeper Client application on your PC by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard and start typing "GateKeeper".
- Move the Lock dial left to increase the lock range (locks farther away). Now your computer will lock slower when you leave. This will help prevent unintended locking events. The default lock setting is 25. Try moving the lock range to 10 or 15. The maximum distance the GateKeeper can lock your computer is at lock setting 0.

Motion Detection Sensitivity
Choose a level of sensitivity to motion to force the computer to lock faster. High motion sensitivity will allow the computer to lock FASTER. If the system is locking too much while you are sitting at your desk, reduce the motion sensitivity to the Low level.

Lock Delay Timeout (Enterprise Only)
Choose a value for this delay if you want to prevent the computer from locking immediately when you walk away. Try 15 seconds. Important: This lock delay will only apply when the computer is locked due to proximity.
Signal Quality Bias Factor
Add a bias to signal quality to prevent computers from locking while you are working. This setting can be adjusted in the Client or Hub software.
GateKeeper Client Version 3.11.35 and below | GateKeeper Client Version 3.12.28 and above |
A positive bias improves signal quality, while a negative bias reduces it. If the signal quality is too low, add a positive bias. If it is too high, add a negative bias. So if your computer is locking while you're working, select +10 or +5. If your computer is not locking fast enough, select -10 or -5.
