Single sign-on, or SSO, is an authentication model that allows users to sign in once and access multiple applications without repeatedly entering separate usernames and passwords.
Yes, GateKeeper can support SSO. GateKeeper SSO Management enables GateKeeper to serve as an identity provider for supported applications via standard SSO protocols such as SAML and OIDC. Once configured, users can authenticate through GateKeeper and access connected applications through the application’s SSO login workflow.
GateKeeper also supports Cascading Login for applications that do not support native SSO. With Cascading Login, users first authenticate to their computer using an approved GateKeeper credential, such as a token or card. After successful login, approved saved credentials can become available for websites and applications through GateKeeper Password Manager.
In summary, GateKeeper can support both native SSO workflows through SSO Management and SSO-like access through Cascading Login, depending on the application and configuration.
