How to make the computer lock faster when leaving.

Read the directions below or see attached document to lock your PC faster when leaving. Warning: setting your computer to lock faster may result in unintended locking events while you're working.

1. Update your GateKeeper Client application to the latest version. Best way to update the Client application on end user computers.
   
    
2. Navigate to your GateKeeper Hub and under the Groups & Settings click "Manage Settings" and "Update Settings". Under the Lock Settings, change the Proximity Lock Range to a closer setting. For example, change the setting to Close to lock within 6 - 12 feet. Done! See below for more options.

Solution: Adjust Signal Quality Bias setting.

The Signal Quality Bias Factor is an advanced feature for adjusting the unlock and lock distance on both GateKeeper Hub and GateKeeper Client software. A positive bias improves signal quality, while a negative bias reduces it. To lock your computer faster, change the "Signal Quality Bias Factor" to negative bias.

 

Solution: Lock Delay Timeout setting.

GateKeeper will delay locking the computer after a lock decision has been made for this Lock Delay Timeout period. Set it to 0 Sec if you wish to lock it as soon as possible.
Important: This lock delay will only apply when the computer is locked due to proximity.

Solution: Motion Detection Sensitivity setting.

GateKeeper is designed to know when a user is walking away. Set it to "High" to lock faster.
